Why it is different from the free pages
The free calculators answer individual planning questions and will remain free. This prototype is the paper handover layer: it gives the current plan a release ID and keeps linked decisions together when several people, suppliers, rooms or shopping runs are involved.
It does not contain recipes, live prices, universal portion rules, food-safety decisions or a promise that a party will fit a particular venue. Exact products, supplier terms, official guidance and the real space remain in control.
Using it for a Christmas party
The prototype can carry the outputs from the Christmas Party Planner: invitations, guest scenarios, fixed budget, menu format, exact food and canapé packs, capped drinks stock, games, decorations, ice, shopping, room and the evidence-led timeline. Write the same plan ID and revision on every relevant page so a changed guest, product, price or access time can be traced.
The pack does not add festive recipes, retailer prices, decoration instructions or special legal authority. The eleven Christmas-party guides remain the current online method; the prototype only provides a joined print and handover layer.
Current test status
All 13 pages have been rendered at A4 and visually checked for clipping, blank pages, alignment and readable tables. One cramped header was corrected during that review.
The next gate is human use: print the complete file on an ordinary home printer, complete it for at least two different party formats, and run one tabletop or real-event rehearsal. Record unclear labels, fields that are too small and any duplicated work.
What must happen before checkout
- Complete the home-printer and handwriting test.
- Test one small children’s party and one mixed-adult party.
- Reconcile the pack against the current free calculators.
- Choose and approve the exact price, personal-use licence and support promise.
- Add the verified legal seller identity, privacy wording, delivery terms and statutory cancellation process.
- Enable payment and protected delivery only after the refund and support route works.
Until those gates are complete, the PDF stays private and this page remains excluded from search indexing.
